Unzipping Your Downloads Once They Are on Your Computer
Some of the downloads will require you to unzip the download package.
Here are a few resources to help you unzip your download.
Windows 7, Vista, & XP:
Locate the compressed folder that you want to extract files or folders from.
Do one of the following:
To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location.
To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
Windows 8:
Locate the compressed folder that you want to extract files or folders from.
Do one of the following:
To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location.
To extract everything in the compressed folder, tap or click the Compressed Folder Tools tab, and then tap or click Extract all.
Mac OS X:
Locate the compressed folder that you want to extract files or folders from.
Double-click the zip file which will be decompressed into the same folder the compressed file is in.
All other OS's:
If your OS is not listed above simply type in your OS with the word 'Unzip' into Google to find an answer.
