Level 1 Certification: The Emotion Code
Course Timeline
Level 1 Certification: The Emotion Code is available in your account at DiscoverHealing.com for 6 months* from the date of purchase. The course is designed build on itself and the modules must be completed in sequential order. However, you can move through the course at your own pace within the 6 month timeframe.
There are 10 distinct modules each covering one main lesson. Each module includes input from three professors, reading assignments from The Emotion Code, a quiz on the knowledge you’ll gain, and assignments to be completed on your own. There is no final exam.
Student Portfolio
The Student Portfolio is a collection of online forms you will fill out for each session you complete. You must input all the sessions for each homework assignment into the online Student Portfolio for those sessions to be counted toward the requirements. You will need to complete the following to fulfill the requirements for the Student Portfolio:
- 5 sessions on yourself
- A session with a follow-up session on 10 other individuals (20 sessions total)
- 5 Heart-Walls completely cleared on 5 new individuals (Clearing a Heart-Wall usually takes 2-4 sessions on that individual)
- A session on 5 different animals
Required Reading
Throughout the course, you’ll read chapters from The Emotion Code (the Updated and Expanded edition). The required readings are provided in each module and are only available while the course is in progress. A hard copy of the book is also available for purchase in our online shop and select bookstores.

Please note that The Emotion Code Certification fee is nonrefundable and we reserve the right to certify or deny certification to any applicant. Emotion Code Certification status may be withdrawn for violation of the Certification Agreement.
